Social media's return on investment on time has of course diminished. BUT surely it will always be the discovery tool of choice? I love metalabel's mission, but as artists we still don't know how wide reaching our work is.

It's both true that artist's have a duty to share our work, as it is in the loop of having an audience that art is born AND we can create purely for our own expressive needs.

I appreciate all of the posts and developments coming from yourself and Metalabel. It’s very overwhelming to make the transition from social media based promotion, to a much more healthier approach. Especially as I disengaged with the whole notion long ago and tend to use Instagram like a blog. And that in itself has really woken me up to how conditioned and controlled we are about how we share and promote our art and work. As I feel myself slowly awaken, I take in each piece of your knowledge like a golden nugget, and dip into Metalabel and my projects as I go. Soon I will be ready to release, in the meantime thanks for the consistency and thought. I’m feeling inspired, it’s just taking me a while to adjust and trust there’s another way.
