WHAT’S GOOD? A new Quality Drop on creativity and AI
Quality Drop 10: The first print publication from Water & Music + Refraction
Last year at Miami Art week, Refraction and Water & Music co-organized a series of panel discussions and roundtables exploring AI advancements and their effect on creative industries.
The resulting dialogue was so fruitful that the two groups came together to create an artifact from the event: a co-created zine on how AI changes our understanding of artistic practice, economics, and curation.
WHAT’S GOOD: Creativity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence is the first printed publication from both communities – two groups we admire and respect for their collaborative natures and creativity.
Water & Music is a business research and intelligence network for the new music industry, and an active community of musicians, researchers, and industry veterans. Previously, we profiled the evolution of W&M from a solo project to a collective community.
Refraction is an Internet Native Organization focused on leading the next wave of digital art, music, and culture online and IRL. They throw incredible events around the world showcasing great artists.
Two communities and dozens of contributors coming together to create a sincere, creative release is what Metalabel is all about.
WHAT’S GOOD is available in 200 onchain records (.04 ETH/$69) that offer a claimable physical copy of the zine, as well as via traditional payment options ($30 / 300 editions).
New Creative Era Salon 01
Last night, we hosted a salon at our NYC headquarters where thirty of us came together to experiment with designing new creative collectives. The energy was warm. The vibes were cozy. Thank you to everyone who came!
FWB Fest
We’re excited to team up with our peers at Friends With Benefits on their epic, three-day exposition of new ideas, music, and culture. We might even drop something there. See you at Fest?
